Young People’s Response to the Russian Invasion of Ukraine Reflects Their General Attitudes Toward Social Issues

Young Americans are divided on how we should respond to the invasion and how well President Biden is handling it. They do agree, though, that we should allow Ukrainian refugees to relocate to the US.

The Ukraine invasion, like many issues, is quite complex. This spring’s Cause and Social Influence report showcases a clear split in opinions of what should be done. This indicates a need for more knowledge and understanding before action. Even though it is clear that action is not as high in terms of other social issues, it ignites a renewed call to build more understanding/knowledge about the situation.
